New Month, New Year, New " KIT OF THE MONTH" for club members
Hello everyone, happy new year to you all and I hope 2011 brings us all some wonderful times. I get a good start to the day when I click here OneTwoSew. There are some precious moments caught on camera!
Our Quilt of the Month Kit for January is RETRO. If your not familiar with it, it's one of our own designs. This quilt has been taught here at the Cobar Quilt Shop with beginner stitchers, some as young as 12. It is a very easy to read pattern and goes together in a matter of hours (for the more experienced quilter).
It's a nice size at 49" x 56".

Toytime Circus
Wow, time flies so fast! I have been very busy this past week finishing off ALL of the outer blocks. That's right, I'm up to the last block, the big one in the centre, with all those letters. I love doing all the animals but the letters require so much turning. It is not my most favourite part but as soon as I am past those rascally letters... it will be a quick (but accurate) tidy up of all the blocks and piece the whole beautiful thing together! I am so excited and I hope that my next post will have a final quilt top to show, if not it will be just one more week away!
Awww they are so cute! Just a reminder that the kit that you would buy from our store over here, includes all the fabrics you see here. I stole (ha ha ha) 1 of the pre-cut kits, so what you see, is exactly what you'll get!
